Pipeline Safety: Standards Update-ASTM A372/A372M

PHMSA is confirming the effective date for a DFR published in the Federal Register on April 24, 2026. The DFR amended PHMSA's regulations at 49 CFR part 192 to incorporate by reference the updated industry standard ASTM A372/A372M, Standard Specification for Carbon and Alloy Steel Forgings for Thin-Walled Pressure Vessels (ASTM A372/ A372M).

The negative declaration submitted by DCDOEE certifies that there are no existing other solid waste incinerators (OSWI) subject to sections 111(d) and 129 of the Clean Air Act (CAA) within the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia (DC).
