The European Free Trade Association (EFTA) aims to foster economic and trade relations between the two countries by eliminating tariffs and other trade barriers.
The Agreement prohibits the application of any custom duties on the trdaed goods in the EFTA region. The Agreement also includes rules of origin and local content provisions. Goods are counted as originating if they are wholly produced or obtained in the country, or undergo sufficient work.
