Air Plan Approval; SC; Department Name Change

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or Agency) is approving a State Implementation Plan (SIP) revision submitted by the State of South Carolina on July 23, 2025. The revision updates references to reflect the restructuring of South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) to the South Carolina Department of Public Health and the South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (DES).

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing to approve the negative declaration submitted by the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment (DCDOEE) on May 21, 2026. The negative declaration submitted by DCDOEE certifies that there are no existing other solid waste incinerators (OSWI) subject to sections 111(d) and 129 of the Clean Air Act (CAA) within the jurisdiction of the District of Columbia (DC).
