Appliances will be rated on a scale of 1 to 6 starts, with higher stars indicating higher energy efficiency. Specific standards in the Saudi Arabian market include MEPS, auditing, standards, and labelling for the following: non-ducted air conditioners and heat pumps; ducted air conditioners and air-to-air heat pumps; household refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers and freezers; household washing machines.
