The program provides financial incentives for energy efficiency investments in industry and commerce. Financial support is provided for

1) investments in highly efficient plants and processes;

2) solar collectors, biomass installations or heat pumps to generate process heat;

3) investments in technology and software for monitoring and controlling energy flows within an energy managament system;

4) holistic optimisation of production processes. Companies can choose between a direct subsidy or a loan combined with an amortisation subsidy.
