Mandatory building energy performance requirements for commercial buildings (based on National ECBC)

The code is applicable to new buildings which have a connevcted load of 100kW or greater or a contract demand of 120kVA or greater , or having conditioned area of 500m2 or greater, and is intended to use for commercial purposes.

The provision of the code shall apply to

Building envelope

mechanical systems and equipment including, heating, ventilation and air conditioning

Service hot water heating

Interior and exterior lighting

Electrical power and motors
