A new legislation on energy performance of buildings is a result of the project of UNISON "Enhancing Regulatory Framework for Energy Efficiency in Built Environment”. The aim of the law is to establish a legal basis for the evaluation of energy efficiency and the reduction of energy resource consumption in buildings as well as regulating the legal and institutional relationship between the owners of buildings regardless of ownership, certified specialists, and state enforcement authorities.
