This Decree regulates the production of biodiesel and alcohol fuels. It also establishes some standards of commercialization and quality for such products.

This decree (regulation to the law 18.195) dictates quality standards and regulations for biofuels production and commercialization.

It regulates properties such as content of alcohol, content of monoglycerides, diglycerides, triglyceride.

The law indicates that the specifications for biofuel production and commercialisation should comply with the Norm UNIT 1100:2014 (or the most updated version)*.

*Norm UNIT 1100:2014 is a set of standards which describes the requirements for pure or blended biofuel/biodiesel.
