Egyptian authorities has signed major agreements with international companies to produce green hydrogen, ammonia, methanol in the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone). Three projects are under study, from EDF Renewables and ZeroWaste, AMEA Power, Masdar and Hassan Allam. The agreement follows Egypt's announced plans to become a regional hub for green hydrogen and green ammonia.
