The plan sets out objectives and specific targets to measure its energy transition by 2030.
It includes:
Not exceeding 349 Mt CO2e throughout the economy,
Reducing energy demand by at least 8% through energy efficiency,
Surpassing 50% of electricity generation from renewable sources,
Achieving a 2% increase in electric vehicles in the vehicle fleet,
Reaching 1,000 MW of distributed renewable generation, and
Expanding the electric transmission network by 5,000 km of new high-voltage lines.
