The regulation is designed to become the reference point for certified training agencies that conduct professional training and test to energy managers on buildings and industry. It also enacted the Labour Ministerial Decree No.80/2015 to be implemented by stakeholders.
This Ministerial Regulation is intended as a reference in the organization of professional education and training, competency tests and professional certification in the positions of energy manager in industrial buildings and buildings.
Applying SKKNI (Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia) in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services in the Professional, Scientific and Other Technical Services in the Energy Manager Work Position in Industry and Building Building as stipulated in the Decree of the Minister of Manpower Number 80 Th 2015 dated March 4, 2015 concerning the Establishment of Indonesian National Work Competency Standards in the Category Professional, Scientific and Technical Services Main Class of Professional, Scientific and Technical Services in the Work Position of Energy Managers in Industrial and Building Buildings.
SKKNI Professional, Scientific and Technical Services in the Main Professional, Scientific and Technical Services in Energy Work Position in Industry and Building, applies compulsorily nationally.
Guidance and supervision of the application of SKKNI in the Professional, Scientific and Technical Services in the Main Professional, Scientific and Technical Services Group in the Work Position of Energy Managers in the Industrial and Building Buildings shall be carried out by the Minister and the Governor in accordance with their authority. The Minister delegates authority to the Director General of New Energy, Renewable and Energy Conservation.
With respect to energy managers in industries and buildings that already have competency certificates issued prior to the promulgation of this Ministerial Regulation, the certificates are still valid until the end of the said certificate period.
