The funding aims to support the market ramp-up of buses with alternative drives, approved by the European Commission in 2021. The funding contains two parts - i.  procurement of buses with alternative drives based on battery and fuel cell technology as well as buses that run 100% on methane generated from biomass and ii. procurement of charging and hydrogen and methane refueling infrastructure for the operation of the buses and for the preparation of feasibility studies.
