The Agreement provides for the following import tariff evolution :

Motor cars, vehicles and car parts -10% tariffs are eliminated

Manufactured metal goods-5% tariffs  are eliminated

Electrical and fibre optic cables-5% tariffs  are eliminated

Photovoltaic cells (not assembled in modules or made up into panels) -tariffs are eliminated

The following rules of origin apply:

Motor cars and vehicles, the product must maintain a Regional Value Content (RVC) of no less than 25%.

Some other manufactured products benefit from flexible rules of origins, allowing for a variety of options to demonstrate their originating status
