On 29 September 2023, the Malaysian Government announced the final determination for the Investigation launched on anti-dumping duties imposed on imports of cold rolled products of alloy or non-alloy steel originating or exported from Japan. Antidumping duties are to be imposed until end September 2028 as follows:

Nippon Steel Corporation : 9.03%

Others : 22.62%

These duties apply to cold rolled products of alloy or non-alloy steel with a thickness of between 0.20 mm to 2.60 mm and a width of between 700 mm to 1,300 mm, originating or exported from Japan.
