In 2022, the Brazilian President signed Decree No 11.120 to allow foreign trade of lithium and minerals, organic and inorganic chemical products, including their compositions, manufactured based on lithium, metallic lithium and lithium alloys and their derivatives.

This Decree establishes that these minerals’ export and import will not be restricted or limited for any reason other than those provided in the law or the Chamber of Foreign Trade - Camex.
