BestPractices, under the Industrial Technologies Program, works with U.S. industry to implement energy management practices in industrial plants. To meet the diverse needs of U.S. industry, BestPractices provides a number of resources for corporate executives, plant managers, technical staff, and the general public. By 2010 BestPractices had helped to bring about 220 emerging technologies to the marketplace, with another 141 technologies expected to be ready for commercialization during 2011/2012.
