Denmark announced its specific plans to allocate funds for energy renovation projects and digital solutions or software that can monitor and optimise energy consumption (e.g. help financing the re-insulation of libraries or the conversion to heat pumps, etc.).

Municipalities and regions could apply for the first DKK 150 million (over EUR 20 million) from 1 November until 8 November 2021. The second call for applications will open in 2022.
