National Recovery and Resilience Plan / 6. Initiative: Renovation of buildings

The sixth part of the Croatian Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP) is an initiative for the renovation of buildings, in light of the recent earthquake. The initiative includes:

- A pilot project to establish and implement systematic energy management and the development of a new financing model (HRK 12 million);

- Energy efficient renovations of buildings (HRK 1 billion);

- Energy efficient renovations of culturally significant buildings (HRK 300 million);

- Renovation of buildings damaged by the earthquake with renewable energy (HRK 4.5 billion).

The total budget for the initiative is 292.0 million EUR, as endorsed by the EU Commission.
