Ocean Winds, a Spanish renewable energy firm, announced its plans to invest $100 million to build a 1.2GW offshore wind farm in Incheon.

The renewable energy firm EDPR intends also to invest $100 million for the construction of a 200MW solar power plant in Goheung.

Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and Korea Institute of Energy Technology Evaluation and Planning renewed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to extend the cooperation in joint R&D clean energy projects.
