Among the objectives of the Italian National Recovery and Resilience plan, one aims to settle the infrastructure for a sustainable agriculture and circular economy.

This component includes:

improvements of waste recovery (EUR 2.1 billion), including strengthening the recycling networks for electrical and electronic equipment, including wind turbine blades and solar PV panels;

development of sustainable agriculture (EUR 2.8 billion)

development of integrated projects in islands and small communities (EUR 0.37 billion)
