This regulation establishes conditions and procedures for subsidising renovation of central and local government buildings to increase energy efficiency.

The Regulation establishes the conditions and procedure for the use of 46% of the proceeds from the auctioning of greenhouse gas emission allowances for the implementation of the measure “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Public Buildings” in 2015–2020 to improve the energy efficiency of central government buildings.

In implementing the measure, the aim is to improve energy efficiency and promote the use of renewable energy through investments in buildings used by the central government. Support will be provided to achieve this goal.
