This scheme has been introduced by the government of Haryana in order to promote energy conservation activities in the Agriculture sector. This scheme provides subsidy on energy efficiency four star and above rated agricultural pump sets to the farmers. All the farmers of Haryana who are taking new tube well connection or opting higher capacity pump sets will be encouraged to install at least 4 star rated(BEE Star rating) pump sets and will be eligible for the state subsidy. Farmers having old non ISI motors and want to replace these with at least 4 star rated motors will also be eligible under this scheme. Farmers who are going for new connection or increasing the capacity of the pump sets and want to avail subsidy for purchasing at least 4 star rated pump sets shall apply in the office of XEN, UHBVN/DHBVN in the district in the prescribed format (Annexure-I & II). The incentive is that individual farmers can receive Rs. 400/- per H.P. of the pump set as subsidy to the maximum limit upto Rs.5000/-. The farmer can apply only once and for single pump set.
