Law for the Exploration and Exploitation of Geothermal Resources

It aims to promote and establish the basic conditions governing the exploration and exploitation of the country's geothermal resources to exclusively generate electricity. It sets the functions of the organs of the State; the modalities of the participation of natural or legal persons (whether public, private or a mix) interested in the exploration and exploitation of renewable resources; and the developing a framework of fiscal incentives, tax charges (fees and taxes), as well as sanctions and project monitoring.
