the Malta Environment and Planning Authority has issued a draft “Planning guidance for Micro Wind turbines below 20kW capacity” which presently is in the process of being reviewed and endorsed by the Office of the Prime Minister.

The guidance is addressed to installations in rural areas, as a first step for pilot projects, to determine the criteria and impacts on future installations intended in urban areas.
