The Ministry of Environment of Lithuania has passed a Climate Change Programme investment plan for 2026-2029 with a total budget of EUR 552 million. Approximately 90% of the funding is allocated to energy-efficient building renovations, including insulation upgrades, heating system modernisation, and deep retrofit measures. The programme aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and improve energy efficiency in the building sector. Additional funding is allocated to carbon sink enhancement and limited support for industries at risk of carbon leakage.
