This programme provides financial support for the deployment of electric vehicle charging infrastructure through various programmes and the Forward-looking Infrastructure Development Programme.
Support includes:
Subsidies to local governments for installation of public charging stations
Up to ~USD 26,000 per slow charger and ~USD 66,000 per fast charger
Public investment targeting 4,000 slow chargers and 400 fast chargers (2023–2024)
Earlier programmes also supported installation in commercial locations with subsidies of up to TWD 300,000 per station.
