The Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE) and the Secretaría de Energía , announced a USD 8.177 billion investment plan to strengthen and expand the National Transmission Network between 2025 and 2030. The programme includes the construction of 275 new transmission lines and 524 new electrical substation projects, improving coverage, reliability and capacity for more than 50 million electricity users nationwide. The plan also modernises infrastructure with advanced technologies to support grid stability and energy flow.
