€2.975 billion is available through 2030 for industrial decarbonization, including renewable hydrogen. Projects must cut GHG emissions by at least 60%, reference at least 10 ktpa CO₂, and avoid fossil fuels. Support covers CAPEX and OPEX for up to 10 years.
The first round opened in February 2025 with €300 million. Individual projects can receive up to €200 million, capped at €600 per ton of CO₂ saved. Projects must be implemented within 5 years of receiving the grant.
