The Advancing Renewables Program supports a range of development, demonstration and pre-commercial deployment projects though a continuous grants attribution system. The program has a number of distinctive features: it is continuously open to applications, rather than operating time-limited calls, its priorities evolve over time (in 2024 focused on hydrogen and the transition to low-emissions metals), applicants should respect a knowledge sharing eligibility criterion, and the calls are targeted towards product developpers (and not only-exploratory R&D).
