The National Hydrogen Strategy, released in September 2024, provides a framework to guide Australia’s production, use and export of hydrogen and aims at positioning Australia to become a global hydrogen leader. The Strategy outlines a five-year plan to develop a clean, innovative, safe and competitive renewable hydrogen industry in Australia. The Strategy is built around four objectives and underpinned by 34 actions to focus efforts.
