A national model for incentivizing renewable hydrogen production, potentially through a contract for difference mechanism, is under consideration. Priority activities until 2030 also include the co-financing of Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEV) using national resources allocated for zero CO2 emission vehicles. These national financial mechanisms aim to complement EU funding and accelerate the development of a hydrogen economy in Croatia.
