In 2022, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) of Thailand released the most recent guidelines governing the expansion of feed-in tariffs until 2030. These regulations endorse the implementation of SPP Hybrid Firm and VSPP Semi-Firm programs, setting targets of 200 MW and 269 MW, respectively. The tariff scheme encompasses new power plants utilizing various fuel sources, including biomass and biogas.
