The decree introduces feed-in premiums as "Green Premium" to support the development of small-scale installation.
Plants with a capacity between 0.5-1 MW are eligible for the green premium without tendering.
This includes Solar energy, geothermal, biogas, hydropower and biomass.
The decree was amended in 2025, and starting in March 2025, all KÁT producers, including those using biomass or biogas, may permanently switch to market-based balancing circles, though the monthly price bonus for transitioning to the METÁR system will be discontinued at the start of 2026
