The £381 million Local EV Infrastructure (LEVI) Fund supports local authorities in England to work with industry and transform the availability of electric vehicle charging for drivers without off-street parking, with funding awarded over the financial years 2023/24 and 2024/25.
It is complemented by home and workplace chargepoints grants. On 28 February, the UK Government announced that it has extended these grants for a further year, to the end of March 2026. The grants provide a range of incentives for flat owners and renters, landlords, those with on-street parking, schools, and businesses.
