Angola aims to reduce its GHG emissions by 21% by 2025, relative to an updated   business-as-usual trajectory, and up to 36% by the same date, conditional on the provision of international support.

In the fossil fuel sector, the country has targeted fugitive methane emissions through flaring reduction. Flaring is reduced by 490 MMSCF/day in the unconditional contribution and a further 110 MMSCF/day in the conditional contribution.
