Role of Chairperson
19 (1) The Chairperson presides over meetings of the board of directors and may perform any duties or functions that are assigned to him or her by the board. (2) If the Chairperson is absent or is unable to act or if there is a vacancy in that office, the Vice-Chairperson acts as Chairperson. (3) The Vice-Chairperson is not authorized to act as Chairperson for a period of more than 90 days without the approval of the Governor in Council.
