Provisions for design, construction, operation and maintenance, closure and dismantling of pipelines for the distribution of natural gas and liquid petroleum gas (LPG). Appendix III is methane-pertinent, specifying guidelines for monitoring, detection and classification of fugitive leaks, as well as the action that different grades of leak require. Mexico's comprehensive methane regulation references this NOM in Chapter 11 on Leak Detection and Repair programs.
