The Roadmap of Sustainable and Holistic Approach to National Energy Efficiency (ROSHANEE) is a broader version of the National Mission for Enhanced Energy Efficiency (NMEEE) and includes current and potential areas of energy efficiency in each sector.

The revised Mission includes existing activities of BEE as well as new activities which have been identified.

Includes prososing amendment to EC Act of 2001 to enhance scope, expanding coverage of PAT, developing a PAT for SMEs, expanding S & L coverage, promote ESCOs, mobilise investment, enhanced data collection and analysis, ehancing state-level capacity (regional Bureaus of Energy Efficiency) and capacity building.
