The goal of the programme is to reduce or to avoid CO2 emissions by increasing energy production from renewable energy sources. The programme provides a support in a form of soft loans. The budget allocation is for years 2015-2020.
It is mainly addressed to entrepreneurs and allows to obtain a loan with a low interest rate, which will cover up to 85% of investment costs. The Stork Programme supports the construction, expansion and reconstruction of renewable energy installations. The BOCIAN programme, in turn, is planned for the years 2015-2023. The signing of contracts lasts until 2020. Photovoltaic installations subsidised by the BOCIAN programme should have a capacity greater than 40kW - however, a maximum of 1MW.
