The Energy Innovation Programme Office (EIPO) is a key inter-agency workgroup responsible for planning and executing strategies to develop the clean energy sector in Singapore. It was formerly known as the Clean Energy Programme Office (CEPO).EIPO aims to grow capabilities in clean energy, including solar energy, smart grids, green buildings, and carbon capture and utilisation.EIPO's key initiatives to develop the clean energy industry include: the establishment of public sector R&D centres, competitive R&D funding and talent development programmes.
