Regulation gives authorization to a group of institutions for managing and updating the Database of Areas, a set of land plots where cultivated biomass meets the sustainability criteria. Also, it is expected in these areas that greenhouse gas emissions from cultivation of agricultural raw materials will not exceed the limits stipulated by a special regulation issued by the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic. At the same time the decree specifies the requirements of the declaration issued by biomass producer Organization that will perform these tasks, is the Soil Science and Conservation Research Institute in Bratislava.
