Program launched in December 2023 with the target of two calls per year.

Funding supports hydrogen and ammonia infrastructure and vessels, covering up to 80% of eligible costs. In 2024, three calls awarded a total of over NOK 2.2 billion (USD ~200 million) for the construction and deployment of hydrogen and ammonia-powered ships. Enova supported 11 hydrogen vessels and 13 ammonia vessels in 2024. Two calls are planned annually for 2025 and 2026.
