The Regional Electrification Pilots for Heavy Transport program is a government initiative that aims to accelerate the electrification of freight transport in Sweden. Within the program, the Swedish Energy Agency distributes support for building strategically located public charging and refueling stations for electricity and hydrogen for trucks. Knowledge building and dissemination of information are also important parts of the program. There have been three calls so far, one in 2022, one in 2023 and one in 2024. In 2022, support was granted to 10 public hydrogen filling stations
