The Decree sets incentives for the uptake of electric vehicles, including:

The deduction of the investment costs in charging stations (2020:100%, declining to 30% by 2025);

A VAT exemption on the import of electrical vehicles no older than 5 years;

A VAT exemption on the import of components into Belarus for the manufacture of electrical vehicles;

A VAT exemption on the sale of EVs in Belarus.
