Launched in 2022, the 50001 Ready Canada program provides industrial facilities, commercial and institutional buildings as well as medium and high-rise multiunit residential buildings with self-paced guidance to use the ISO 50001 energy management standard. 50001 Ready Canada recognizes organizations that self-attest to completing the 25 compliance steps by issuing a 50001 Ready certificate, acknowledging achievement in an online registry, and profiling energy efficiency improvement in communication products.
