The China - Hong Kong, China Closer Economic Partnership Arrangement aims to foster economic and trade relations between the two countries by eliminating tariffs and other trade barriers. The Agreement eliminates import tariffs for all traded goods.
The Agreement also includes rules of origin and local content provisions. Goods are counted as originating if they are wholly produced or obtained in the country, or undergo sufficient work.
