Germany and Canada have conducted a call for proposals for research and development grants focused on green hydrogen. This initiative aims to promote joint research and development of mutual interest between the two countries. Project teams must include at least three Canadian and two German partners. The funded projects under this call will address various topics, including hydrogen production, storage, transport, infrastructure, logistics, and the integration of hydrogen value chains into national energy systems. The grants are awarded within the framework of project funding and usually with a maximum of EUR 750,000 per joint project for the german side.
