The National Plan for Emission Reduction from big combustion plants sets a pathway for a gradual reduction in air pollutants from industrial installations.

The total emission limits for all plants included in the National Plan are:

1 017 kt SO2 in 2018 to  51 kt SO2 in 2033;

191 kt NOx in 2018 to  54  kt NOx in 2033;

206 kt NOx in 2018 to  5.1 kt NOx  in 2033.

The plan sets for each of the 90 plants annual reduction objectives towards 2033.
