Through Resolution 532, new import taxes were decided for hybrid, plug-in, and electric vehicles. The increase in the import tax will be gradual until 2026 for all three types of vehicles. As for electric vehicles, a rate of 10% will be applied from January 2024, which will increase to 35% in July 2026.
