The enacted Act determines the preparation of energy performance certificates, of the inspections of heating and air conditioning system in buildings, of keeping a central register of the energy performance of buildings, of the National Action Plan aimed at increasing the number of buildings with low energy consumption.

The act was last amended in 2023 and now is compliant with the 2018 EU EPBD.
